I’ve been tampering with sound creation in my Motif-ES8 digital workstation for the first time since I’ve owned it, which has been about 6 years. Ridiculous right? Anywhoo, after learning some of the basic sound editing procedures within the board, I begin to produce some cool results. My goal for this sound was a soft, slower moving synth sound that the ability to get harsh when desired. It is a dual layered sound that I can manipulate on the fly while playing. If you listen closely, you can hear me slow down to turn some knobs and shift some sliders.

I plan on creating a song with this sometime in the near future, which i’m quite excited about! Happy listening!
